Northern New York

08/07/09 - 08/21/09

I spent a couple of weeks in northern New York. I spent time in the Adirondacks and at Lake Bonaparte.

The first eighteen photos below are from the Adirondacks. I spent most of my time there in the Lake Placid area. It was interesting seeing some of the venues remaining from when the Winter Olympics were held there. The most impressive venue was the ski jumps. All I've got to say is that the people who jump off of those things are crazy!

The last eight photos are from Lake Bonaparte. I spent some time visiting friends at their summer cottage there. Bob and Cathie, thanks for the hospitality.
