San Carlos RV Park

01/20/11 - 01/26/11

San Carlos RV Park is in Fort Myers Beach. It sits on a peninsula that juts into Hurricane Bay. All the campsites are on or have a view of the water. The park is a great place to see wildlife. A group of pelicans spend the nights in mangrove trees. A platform with an osprey nest is in the bay. Dolphins swim in the bay.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best while I was here. It was cloudy, windy, and rainy. But it was still in the 60s and 70s. So I can't complain too bad considering what the weather has been like for you folks up north. Here is some of the wildlife I saw while staying here.
