Prince of Tucson RV Park

11/27/12 - 03/02/13

My home for the three months I spent in Tucson was the Prince of Tucson RV Park. I've stayed here before and it's typically a nice quiet place to stay. Unfortunately, the exit off the interstate to get to the park was under major reconstruction this year. So I woke up too many times at 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning to the beep, beep, beep from a piece of heavy construction equipment backing up. Despite the noise and inconvience of the construction, I still enjoyed my stay.

Some of my neighbors fed the birds and had hummingbird feeders. So there was always something flying around. One hummingbird liked to roost in a hedge near my RV, so I was able to get some shots of him resting and flying around. I also saw hawks around the park fairly often. But only had one opportunity to photograph one. I took the photo of the hawk below through the rear window of my RV. He was less the 10 feet from the RV.

Below are some photos I took in the park and walking in the area around the park.
