Thaddeus Lake

08/24/13 - 09/09/13

I spent a little over two weeks fishing at Thaddeus Lake Lodge. The weather was good and the fishing was pretty good. As always, Thaddeus Lake provided quite a few awesome sunsets while I was there. Also, there were some good wildlife opportunities as well.

I also had the chance to play around with some night photography while I was there. I got to see the northern lights for only the fourth time in my life. I was amazed when I saw the photographs on my computer. To the naked eye, the lights just looked like a dimly glowing white bank of clouds in the north. But when I saw them on my computer, they were more yellow and orange in color with some red streaks they covered more of the sky. The last photo in this set is of the northern lights.
