Lunar Eclipse


I stood outside on a chilly night to photograph the lunar eclipse. The first photo shows the sky conditions just over an hour before the eclipse started. It had been cloudy and rainy all day. But the clouds had just started breaking up when I took that first photo and it was totally clear by the time the eclipse stared. During the eclipse, I took a photo every few minutes. I chose the photos below to show the various stages of the eclipse. The last photo is my attempt to use Photoshop to merge several of the photos into one that shows the progression.
