Yellowstone National Park

08/18/15 - 08/23/15

I gave myself six days to explore the park since it has been nearly twenty years since I've been to some parts of the park. Unfortunately, I only spent a total of maybe six hours in the park. I came down with a bug and recovery was impeded by unhealthy air quality alerts due to all the wildfires out west. The smell of smoke was constantly in the air. When I did get into the park, the crowds were unbelievable. There were lines of cars waiting for parking spots at many of the attractions.

Despite the crowds, I was fortunate enough to see two geysers erupt. As I was killing time until the next eruption of Old Faithful, the Beehive Geyser erupted. Also, on the way out of te park, I came across some bison and elk. Below are some photos from my brief visit to the park.
