Sweetwater Wetlands

12/02/15 - 2/02/16

Sweetwater Wetalnds is a man-made wetlands area where the water from Tucson's water treatment plant is further purified before it is stored for use in watering lawns, golf courses, etc. Being a supply of water in the desert, it naturally draws lots of wildlife.

Unfortunately, there wasn't as much wildlife as in past years. But there still was enough around for plenty of phot opportunities. On my first visit this winter, I came across a bobcat and watched as it stalked and caught a rat. You can find the photos from that encounter in the previous photo set. Here are some photos of some of my other wildlife encounters.
