Acadia National Park

4/30/16 - 5/07/16

I came to Acadia for a night Photography workshop. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate and the workshop became more of a workshop on photographing in bad weather and crappy lighting conditions.

I arrived two days before the workshop started. Luckily, that first night was clear. So I went out and photographed from 8PM until 8AM the next morning. The first eight photos below came from that marathon session. I used the next day as a day of rest before the workshop started.

The workshop was held on the next five days. It was overcast and rainy for the first four days. We still went out photographing some during the day and a couple of the nights. But we didn't see a single star until the last night. The remainder of the photos are from the workshop. I didn't get as many night sky shots as I wanted, but I still had a good time.
