Thaddeus Lake - Wildlife

5/20/17 - 6/01/17

I spent two weeks at Thaddeus Lake Lodge. Unfortunately, the weather and the fishing was not the best. To me, fishing is supposed to be a fun exprience. But it's no fun at all when it's 45 degrees, with winds gusting up to 25 MPH, and raining. So there were four days when I never even went out on the water. When I did get out on the water, the fishing was pretty tough. Because of the varying weather they've had all year, the fish were not in their typical patterns. But I still hade a good time and caught enough fish to keep me happy.

This photo set contains the wildlife I saw during my stay here. One day, I got to watch a family of otters playing for about ten minutes. Unfortunately, I was a bit too far away and thw water was a little too wavy for me to be able to get decent photos. But there are a few photos from that experience posted here. It's also mating season for the waterfowl, so I got to watch some of their courting rituals.

The following photo set contains some scenery shots from my stay here.
