Sweetwater Wetlands - Waterfowl

11/28/17 - 02/27/18

During the three months I spent in Tucson, I visited Sweetwater about once a week. It's just over a mile from the RV park where I was staying. So it was a good place to stop and stretch my legs whenever I was out and about.

The wetlands are man-made and are used to filter water discharged from the water treatment plant. As expected, a wetlands area in a desert region draws lots a wildlife. This gallery contains photos of waterfowl I found here. The next gallery contains photos of other birds and wildlife from here.
