Socorro, NM

The next stop on my way to Tucson was Socorro,NM for a photography workshop in Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. Two of my friends, Diane and Joni, were also signed up for the workshop and we all arrived a day early. We took that day to explore around Socorro. We drove the Quebradas Backcountry Byway, visited the town's historic district (including San Migual Church), and did a quick drive through part of the wildlife refuge.
